What experience have you gained at Foster Wheeler? |
|
| |
| |
"Since I first joined the company my role has changed quite a bit. I came in as a temp and was working in an admin role. However, over the years it developed and I became the home office administration manager and now I'm the operations coordinator so instead of just dealing with admin and I now manage up to about 350 people." |

What's been the highlight of your career so far? |
|
| |
| |
"The high point of my career so far was being on an 18 month assignment in Singapore, it was an opportunity given to me by the department to progress my career and offer me experience of working on site. I deal with a lot of people who work on site and to be able to relate to them I needed that experience for myself. So, I spent 18 months in Singapore on a family assignment and the experience has helped me to progress to where I am now within the company." |

What is the social life like at Foster Wheeler? |
|
| |
| |
"The social side of Foster Wheeler is great, there are so many sports clubs and social clubs. I’m actually involved in the football club and we must have 50 or 60 members, we play football on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. And as well as playing in an eleven- a-side league there are many other clubs like cricket and sailing there is just about anything you want. There are over 3000 people in our Reading office and I think pretty much everyone is catered for." |
